What is the Condo capacity and bed size?
The Condo is 1 bedroom unit with an ultra plush, King size bed.  There is a small cot also stored in the storage closet. 

How do I get the keys?
Prior to your arrival, I will send you a Welcome Letter outlining all details for your stay, including key pick up and drop off.

Is there parking?
Yes, there is a large pay-parking lot right across the street from our building.

Are children allowed?
The condo is suitable for 1 couple and 1 child maximum.

Do you allow pets?
Sorry no pets allowed. 

Can I check in early?
Depending upon flight times of arrival and departure, we can discuss.  Please contact us for details.

Can I check out late?
Check out time is 11:00AM.  To ensure the cottage is ready for any incoming guests we ask that you adhere to current check out times.  Please contact us for details.

What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non refundable.  There is no refund for early departure.

Will linens/towels be provided?
Yes, we provide sheets, towels, blankets, comforters, and pillows, but guests are asked to wash or start washing all sheets and towels before your leave. 

How far away is the nearest medical facility?
Hospital facilities are located in Quebec City within minutes.    

What is the neighborhood like, secluded, populated, safe?
The Maison Thibodeau building is very quiet consisting of many government officials and democrats.  It is very safe.  The Quartier Petit-Champlain neighborhood is quite unique. On the shore of the St.Lawrence River, it hosts the oldest church, the oldest street and… the oldest commercial district on the continent.  

Does the Condo have a phone or internet connection?
The Condo does not have a phone however cellular reception is excellent.  We do have cable TV and free wireless internet service available to all guests.

How do I get to the Condo?
It's very easy.  See our Directions page.

What is the best time of the year to go to the Condo?
Quebec City if fantastic all year around depending upon the type of activities you are looking for.  Please see our “What to do” and “Activities” pages.

Where does the water come from - is it safe to drink?
The Condo water comes from the town water system.  It is fine for drinking but has a chlorine taste, we recommend bottled water. 

What do you use for cooling or heating?
We have a brand new air conditioning system and floor board heaters in each room with their own thermostat.   

Is there a TV and VCR?
Yes, there is a TV and VCR and a DVD player.  We also have a stereo with CD player.  We have many great local French CD’s for you to enjoy.

Can we smoke in the unit?
No, we ask smokers to smoke outside and please butt out in a wet container and discard all filters. We are adamant about this request.

Is there cleaning staff?
Yes, however we ask you to keep our condo just as clean as we've prepared it for you. Minor cleaning is required with your rental. We understand messes may happen during your stay, that's why we have provided basic cleaning materials (vacuum, mop, bucket, cleaning agents, etc.) Garbage should be thrown down the garbage chute down the hall.

Is there any night life?
If you mean nightclubs and bars, absolutely.  Quebec City has a very active nightlife full of bistro’s, pubs, café’s, clubs etc.... 

What is the average temperature? 
During summer temperatures generally range from 20° to 25°C with wonderful cool breezes.  The winter in Quebec City can get very cold with -40” temperatures so please be sure to dress very warm.  

Will we need to bring dishes and cutlery?
No, we provide everything you need in the kitchen except food and drinks. Please bring your own paper towels & laundry detergent, etc.

Is there a BBQ?
No.

Can we do laundry?
Yes, the Condo unit has a washer and dryer.  Please feel free to use them, you will need to bring your own detergent. 

What do I do with garbage?
There is a chute down the hallway around the corner from the elevators to the right.
