Metro Grocery Store: There is a small strip mall on your right side as you drive about half way to the condo from the airport in Ste. Foy, It has a “METRO” grocery store and a “SAQ” store right beside it. The SAQ is Equivalent to the LCBC.
Grocery Store: There is another small grocery store located just under the highway bridge when you head east on Rue Dalhousie and take a left at the lights, it will be on your right hand side just under the bridge.
Both the grocery and liquor stores have many different foods and beverages that are locally grown and made. We encourage you to try and experience the local flavors of Quebec as they are very different from the rest of Canada.
Old Port Market
We have left a market basket in the condo for you to carry to the market. If you like fine, locally-produced food and drink, want to shoot the breeze with Quebec City farmers, learn more about different handicrafts from the artisans themselves or enjoy a snack of tasty local cheese, then you will not be disappointed by the Old Port Market, with its wide selection of agrifood products, fresh flowers and more from farms in the Greater Quebec Area. It is like going on a trip to the countryside, though you are only a minutes from the Clarendon Hotel. During the holiday season and Easter weekend, the Old Port Market offers mouth-watering creations and tempting delicacies!
