This very clean, charming Saltbox Style Cottage is located in a small out port called Bauline. Bauline is located at the base of a 1000-foot high mountain where publicly groomed trails will lead you to the summit. This quaint and very clean, ocean front century home has a lovely western view of Conception Bay and the village's lobster/crab fishing port. Sunsets, iceberg and whale watching in Bauline is spectacular, especially while sipping on a cocktail on your own private, 300 square foot patio. Beside the property is a babbling brook that will serenade you to blissful slumber.
Saltbox Definition: An East Coast term used to describe the style of this Newfoundland home. Originally built in 1892, we have carefully renovated our Saltbox to accommodate modern amenities however; we have attempted to keep a lot of the original character. Notice the stairs leading to the second floor are worn by over 100 years of traffic.
